NHLA Inspection School Grading accuracy is essential to our industry, and there is no better place to begin building a foundation than at the NHLA Inspection School. Hardwood Forest Foundation The Hardwood Forest Foundation is a non-profit educational resource designed to improve public knowledge of forest management. Project Learning Tree Project Learning Tree uses the forest to increase students' understanding of our environment and develop students' ability to make informed decisions on environmental issues. The Hardwood Defect Trainer MIT has put together this site which explores defects in hardwoods. Hardwood Lumber Grades Tutorial Purdue University's Forestry and Natural Resources department released this tutorial on grading hardwood lumber.
