Champlain Hardwoods Celebrates 25th Anniversary!!
2007 marks Champlain Hardwoods' 25th Year in business. From day one, we have always specialized in domestic hardwoods. This means that our customers get all of the best lumber we have with no exceptions; no export grade or special stock is pulled from our shipments. Our focus in 2007 is to make sure our customers continue make money with our lumber.
Did you know??
In Select and Better hardwood lumber, the entire board must be flat enough to cleanly surface out at standard surfaced thickness, leaving very little margin for warp. In the common grades, however, the rule applies only to the individual cuttings, allowing a greater tolerance for warp. We discuss the implications for our customers' operations from rule subtleties like this every day.
